About Valley Village & North Hollywood Orthodontist, Dr. Mehdi Fotovat, DDS
Dr. Mehdi Fotovat has practiced orthodontics for more than 14 years. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists - an achievement and honor held by only 35% of practicing orthodontists in the nation. He is also member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society.
Dr. Fotovat received his dental degree from UCLA, and his orthodontic degree from University of Connecticut. He is also a former clinical instructor at the Orthodontic Department at the University of California at Los Angeles School of Dentistry. Along with the entire team, he attends numerous continuing education courses throughout the year to further advance his knowledge of state-of-the-art orthodontic treatments. In fact, Dr. Fotovat is an Invisalign® Premier Provider. Only the top 5% of all dentists in the nation who use the Invisalign system fall into this category.
A second-generation dentist, Dr. Fotovat is also married to an orthodontist. He loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, and enjoys family outings, outdoor sports and traveling.
